Temperature and pressure drift
Once temperature or pressure drifts, an entire multi-day dataset can be lost. The gap between rated accuracy and real long-run behaviour is where most research instruments fail.
The HPSTART25.4x4 ore-formation simulation press ships with a 25.4mm sample chamber and our in-house cold-seal integrated high-pressure high-temperature control system. Temperature control accuracy is ±0.1℃, and steady-state pressure stays within ±1MPa over long runs—so every replicate dataset from a rock-fluid reaction is traceable and reproducible.
For anyone running high-pressure rock-fluid experiments in geology and geochemistry, two things decide whether a study holds up: whether temperature and pressure stay stable for tens of hours, and whether replicate runs reproduce each other.
Once temperature or pressure drifts, an entire multi-day dataset can be lost. The gap between rated accuracy and real long-run behaviour is where most research instruments fail.
When reproducibility depends on operator experience and intuition, different researchers get results that disagree—and the error bars in the paper become a problem.
Pressure hold, temperature soak and depressurisation all need someone watching. Night runs are the hardest to keep consistent, and accumulated system error quietly eats experimental accuracy.
All figures below are as-tested factory specifications and are the single reference across every channel.

Standard configuration; negligible drift over 72 hours of pressure-hold and temperature-soak operation
Suits most rock-fluid simulation experiments; TC4, 316L and alumina chambers available
Pressure band maintained under long steady-state runs via closed-loop dynamic adjustment
A sealed high-pressure high-temperature platform for geological institutes and university geochemistry laboratories.
Reproduce mineral migration, transport and enrichment in rocks under high pressure and temperature to study ore-forming mechanisms.
Study element migration, alteration and dissolution-precipitation kinetics in rock-fluid systems, with runs lasting tens of hours.
Run sealed rock-fluid hydrogen generation experiments for deep-crust, deep-sea and deep-space water-rock research and for energy exploration.
The entire system operates closed-loop, acquiring and adjusting pressure and temperature in real time. Custom multi-segment programme curves automate pressure hold, temperature soak and depressurisation, cutting the system error introduced by manual operation.
For research instruments, what matters is controllability and repeatability. You set the programme; the system does the rest.
